As the last of the Greatest Generation approach their final curtain call, we are witnesses to a tremendous loss as we embrace a precious opportunity. One WWII veteran passes away every 90 seconds. They take their stories, history and enormous bravery with them. But many are among us still. There is no earthly way we can repay the gift of freedom, but with your help we can THANK them.

Honor Flight South Florida flies veterans to Washington DC to see their memorials. These men and women sacrificed so much to preserve our freedom.

Help us honor them.  Donate to the cause, the mission. Help Honor Flight South Florida Fly.

100% of ALL donations go to honoring and flying a Veteran to Washington DC. Honor Flight South Florida is blessed with a dedicated all volunteer corps dedicated to honoring ALL American Veterans.

May 21st Honor Flight Mission- Success!

Our second mission this year has been competed. The May 21st was a great success, although we had some weather elements to deal with, the Veterans from World War II and the Korean War Veterans marched on as the real troopers that they are and all had a great day. We visited the WWII Memorial, went to Arlington National Cemetery to witness the Changing of the Guard, drove by and around the Air Force Memorial and stopped by the Marine Memorial, better know as the Iwo Jima Memorial. Eastern Air Lines really went all out with a hot meal on the way home, and of course, the Homecoming Parade. Unbelievable.

Now we look forward to out next flight, October 8th.

Not wanting to jinx our chances for something really BIG this fall, but this flight could be the LARGEST Honor Flight to DC, ever, for any hub in the country. We will keep you informed via the general meetings and via email.

So what does this mean? Very simply, we will be needing everyone's help in seeking out WWII Veterans for this flight. Now is the time to tell your neighbors, co-workers, friends, everyone that we need their help in recruiting Veterans for this mission.

You can start your own WWII Veteran Recruitment Drive today! Click HERE to download single flyers, 2-up flyers, 11" x 17" posters and four different social media announcements. Download and start recruiting today!
